gets his early speed from his dam, Eliza, who was champion 2 year old filly in the U.S. in 1992, winning the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Filly race (G1) which paid $1 million dollars as well as winning many other G1 and G2 races. In 9 out of 12 races, Eliza was first at the first call, ridden through her career by Pat Valenzuela and Gary Stevens. She attained a Byars rating of 108. She ran 5 1/2 furlongs in 21.2 first call, 44.0 second call, and won by 2 lengths in 1:03.
